We had a wonderful Easter weekend! Friday we had some new friends over for Pizza and Ice cream sundaes, Saturday we visited the Salado creek for the first time and grilled out with the Housewrights. We have been trying to focus on our Savior’s death and resurrection and not so much on the Easter Bunny this year. Micah still managed to shout out, “look what the Easter bunny brought me!” The older kids promptly tried to shush him up and explain to him who really gave it to him. He then kept chatting through out the day how Jesus died on the cross and I tried to add on that Jesus arose, too, don’t forget. Anyways, it was a special Sunday. We had a wonderful time of worship on Sunday and then the kids got to hunt for eggs and jump on an inflatable trampoline. We came home to a turkey in the oven and the kids wanted to know why we were having Thanksgiving at Easter. lol Needless to say we were happily worn out by Monday. Hope you all had a fun and special weekend as well.

So glad to hear you had a great time on Easter! We enjoyed an early service at the Union Church and an Easter breakfast and the main service of worship. The couple from Omaha, Nebraska were there and we received prayer from the wife. We’re going to mail our letters with them this Sunday when they return to the U.S. from Lima.
Praise the Lord we received some funding. Margarita arrived safely from the jungle today. She had much to tell us. We found a room for her at the Evangelical Seminary here which is much cheaper than the hostal she was staying at before. She is fasting until tomorrow.
PRAY we can get caught up on our papers and letters and tax. We had people over for meals Monday and Tuesday and I did all the housecleaning. Today I was exhausted.
Daddy’s appointment with the neurologist is tomorrow afternoon in San Ysidro.
It is expensive but we think he needs a good check-up and a change of medicine.
